Canon EOS 500D Digital SLR
The Canon EOS 500D, available from May 2009 mount the new 15.1-megapixel CMOS sensor (maximum resolution: 4752×3168) that even in low light conditions, reduces background noise than previous generation sensors.
In combination with Canon’s DIGIC 4 processor allows 14-bit image processing for smooth gradations and natural colors.
Also this SLR Canon has the built-in system for prevention and clean the dust on the sensor.
The viewfinder image is a pentaspecchio coverage of about 95%.
Shutter speed reaches up to 3.4 fps and can capture images in bursts of up to 170 consecutive JPEG images (9 in RAW).
The 500D has a 9-point autofocus, you can choose from one of nine fixed points of focus on the scene. For accurate focusing, the center AF cross sensor has a high sensitivity.
The LCD 3 “Clear View mounted on this camera, with a visibility of 920,000 pixels and up to an angle of 170 degrees, has the Live View mode” that allows the real-time playback of images on the LCD.
The flash guide number is 13 and can be set in various modes: Auto, Manual On / Off, Red-eye reduction.
As the storage medium you use the SD or SDHC.
The weight of the camera body is 480 g.
Fully compatible with EF / EF-S lenses and Speedlite EX.
