I have the EOS 500D with 18-55mm IS Kitobjektiv now been about 3 weeks and am thoroughly delighted.

The functionality of the camera that brings with it is huge, but after a thorough study to understand the instructions but easy to use. The various automatic photo modes are easy and intuitive to use (but I do not use) and the manual modes (P, AV, TV, M) offer an advanced DSLR users, many adjustments to the creativity to make progress. The AF works with the supplied kit lens even in low light-quickly and cleanly.

The video mode does provide a top quality with Full HD and jerky but still very fast pans – which does not bother me personally but I do not or rarely capture video.

The camera is also good in the hand and makes an impression valent processed. The included software package is used) (as of CANON me happy.
