I Love This Camera

I will not go beyond the technical merits of this camera because they are well detailed in other posts. I can only speak for myself. I was really waiting for a comprehensive economic framework D-SLR to get out. However, this camera came out with rave reviews and has a large LCD screen that look like HD video and the latest DIGIC 4 image processor board. So I went for it.
I do not regret that decision at all. Now, can I still get the full frame camera later, but in the meantime, I’m enjoying this technological marvel. My last camera was the Canon G6 and served me well for a number of years. T1i but this is the type of camera that I always dreamed of owning for the last 40 years.
I bought the EF 70-200mm f / 4 L IS USM and EF 85mm f/1.8 USM and are now in progress pictures I never dreamed that she would shoot.
Oh, yes, the kit lens. You either love it or hate it. I am the “love it” bandwagon. For many situations that does a good job. The 3 lenses that I have the kit lens is the most versatile for shooting HD video because of its wide field of view. It may not match the other lenses I have for the stills, but if the lens kit is everything you have, that will do a great job for you. Just give him a chance.
There are many little details on this camera that come in handy, such as spot metering and mirror lock-up to name a few, it becomes difficult for me to believe that calling this a D-level entry-SLR. ”
I like the mode dial is the base areas, such as portrait, landscape, etc. They are very useful when you need to shoot now and can not remember what fast enough aperture, ISO or other setting that is best for a shot. When you have time to think you can use the area to hone your creative shots.
The HD video is fantastic and looks great on an HDTV. The mono sound is O.K. Works for me. After all, I’m not trying to make a Hollywood blockbuster or music video with this camera. The video is really good.
Including Digital Photo Professional is fine. If you do not have Photoshop you can still do some ‘decent enough photo processing base with the included software.
So what’s not to like. Well, I would like the live view would work in areas of the base. You can not take the newspaper from the yard, but I’m working on that.
Wish List:
Image Sensor Full Frame
Higher fps continuous
Weatherproof closure
More metal, less plastic in the body.
I think I could pay the other $ 1800 or more and I can get these wishes in professional models. But is it worth it? Judge for yourself.
All in all, this is a great package because it has a very flexible camera, tons of features, great video and software suitable for the preparation of photographs of the base. The Rebel T1i is an incredible value considering the price and features. And it does take great pictures.
I love this camera!
