The quality of images captured by the Canon EOS 500D

The quality of images captured by the Canon EOS 500D is guaranteed by the presence of the DIGIC 4 image processing that allows 14-bit with smooth gradations and natural colors. Special care also has been given to reducing and eliminating digital noise.

Our tests have revealed how now also provide economic reflex cameras capable of giving high satisfaction. The definition is at high levels and all the details are captured with remarkable precision.

The colors are reproduced with great realism, and even the more critical tone, do not ever transgressed the spaces they cover. From optical point of view it only detects the presence of purple fringing, but this is probably mainly due to optics provided a kit which, although satisfactory, is not among the aims of increasing quality.

Also section meter responds appropriately. We had no problems, either in optimal lighting situations or when the environmental parameters showed some criticism.

Addition, which will be welcomed by less experienced photographers, will help the Picture Style that could be defined as the counterpart of the scene in a compact way. Help in specific shooting situations and have the name Standard, Portrait, Landscape, Neutral, Faithful and Monochrome (not just black but also white and yellow filter, orange, red, green, sepia, blue and purple).

We report also fully compatible with the optical 500D Canon EF / EF-S and the entire range of EX Speedlite flash.
